Getting a little Inky!!!

Hope you are having a Hoppy kind of a Thursday!!

If you are Hopping with the Unity Stamp Co Hip Hop,
You should have just hopped from the very talented

Today I wanted to share with you a layout I have entered into this weeks
The Color Room.

This is my little man Lucas who is 3.  I love to take photos while he plays, and he doesn't know that I am watching.  This is one of my favourite pics.

I totally got all kinds on inky on this layout.  I started by using a cogs masque on the
background and spraying Glimmermist.

I just started stamping around and balancing the page.
I used a different color for each cog.

This is a stamp that I will use over and over again.

Now check out this awesome sale happening now!!

I am heading over there myself to grab some awesome stamps!!

Thanks for stopping by. xo

Now it is time to hop on over to

What's Cooking?....It's Ippity!

I love Unity and I love Ippity.
I have the bestest Ippity Chick!
(not sure if bestest is a word?)
but she is amazing.

This week I really wanted to play with
this very cute little chef
designed by the very talented

I had so much fun coloring this little Chef in!
I tied some bows.
And used a Dusty Attic chipboard Spoon.

I ruled vertical lines on his pants and coloured them in a check pattern.
Was going a little cross eyed towards the end!! lol

So don't forget to PICK A CHICK and load up your shopping cart!
There is so much to choose from!

Enjoy your Wednesday!

Scrap the Boys June Challenge

Hey There Everyone,

It is a cold and rainy day here in Mackay, just perfect for scrapbooking and catching up on my blog.  What also makes is easier is the fact that it is now school holidays here in Queensland, which means I won't have to run around like a crazy women, dropping kids off to school.

There is still time to enter the Scrap the Boys June Challenge.

JUNE CHALLENGE >>>>

This month's challenge is from Creative Team Member TARRAH, this is the challenge that she used in her CT Application..

You need to create a layout featuring your boy(s) helping others, you also need to use paint on your layout!
This is my layout:

This is my son Jacksona and his little brother Lucas, helping Grandad on the farm.  I rolled some paint on the background using a brayer.  I loved the Kaisercraft Cock-a-doodle-doo Collection for this page.

I used the Unity Stamp Co Chicken Wire stamp to stamp all around the edges.  I also like the texture and farm sort of feeling using the hessian.

On the day we visited the farm I collected weeds and dried them out.  They were perfect for putting into the back of the tractor!!

I loved adding a little twine stitching in there.

I left the Dusty Attic Chipboard lettering raw.

So why not head over and give the challenge a try for yourself.

Thanks for stopping by.

It's Hip Hop Time!!

My very first Unity Stamp Co. Hip Hop!!

Hope you have had some fun visiting Lisa Arana.  She is soooo talented.

Now it's my turn!

I am only new to cardmaking and I thought the perfect thing I would share with you is the Unity Stamp Co. Kit of the Month Sketch Challenge.

Using this sketch made it a little easier for me. This is what I did!

And a close-up:

I just love this stamp.  So I got my copic markers out and had a play.  It reminds me of when I was a kid and the ice cream truck would come past in the afternoon.

That stamp is part of the June Kit of the Month.

Ok, so your next stop is the beautiful Shellye McDaniel.

Thanks for stopping by for my very first Unity Stamp Co. Hip Hop!!

Unity Stamp Co. & Websters Pages Blog Hop

Hey Everyone,

This is so exciting.  Today I am involved in a blog hop between Unity Stamp Company and Websters Pages.

We had the opportunity to use some amazing new stamps from Unity Stamp Co which are part of the new range of Websters Pages papers called "Girl Land".  I was so excited when were told that we would get to create with this new paper range as well.

I am in Girly Heaven!!!  It is not often I get to play with such beautiful girly colors.  So I had some fun making a layout using a photo of Georgia, my friends daughter, who is just like the daughter I never had.

Here is my layout:

I had loads of fun using some embossing Opal powders and these Unity Stamp Co. stamps.

The Websters Pages Girl Land Range is amazing.

These are the stamps I used:

This one is called Doily Decor.  I used this stamp for the background, using embossing Opal Powders.  The white really stood out.

This one is called Girl Land Doily Chevron.  I used this stamp in the top right hand corner, as a tag and as part of my title.

There is a massive range of co-ordinating stamps available at Unity Stamp Co.  I cannot wait to get my hands on some of the other stamps in this range too!  They are all available now!

Now, you have the chance to win these pretty goodies! Head on over to  Unity Blog to comment on EACH day's posts pertaining to Unity/Webster's Girl Land Blog Hop, and visit other DT members for more inspiration!

Don't forget to visit Webster's Pages as well as they're having a giveaway, too!

Thanks for stopping by!
