So Excited

Hey There,

Two in one day, this was so much fun.  This is my entry for this months
Dusty Attic Sketch Challenge.

This is a photo of Lucas, my youngest boy.  He gives me this look when he is up to something and then wants to get away with it.  Totally cute!!

I have used Dusty Attic Chipboard - Park Bench - DA0265 which I have painted.

I took a photo of Lucas on a similar seat we have at home and then cut around it so it looks like he is actually sitting on the chair.

The Hot Air Balloon and Clouds are from "the Chip Chop Shop" which I have been dying to use!  So many yummy embellishments to choose from!

Scrapping Outback - My Scraproom Rules Competition - Challenge #1

Hi There Everyone,

Have been a very busy girl this week.  I am taking part in the Scrapping Outback - My Scraproom Rules competition.  This weeks challenge # 1 is to do the following:

Fussy cutting chop your paper
Chipboard Chopped
Garnish with Distressing
Minimum of 3 Noticeable Hand made Flowers

Here is my entry:

This is a picture of my nannna, who is just so special to us all!!  I have fussy chopped some patterned paper with roses and leaves (my nanna's favourites).  I have chopped two pieces of chipboard, there is a half of a butterfly in the top left corner and the bottom right corner, and the floral chipboard has been cut also.  I have distressed the photo mat and the outside of the page.  I have handmade three roses out of clay and painted them and used perfect pearls.

The close-ups show everything in more detail.  You can head over to the Scrapping Outback Gallery to see the other beautiful entries as well Scrapping Outback Gallery

Happy Days

This morning I came downstairs with my cuppa, into my scrapbooking office.  Receiving my emails I wondered how busy I was going to be today.  And there it was, on my colour room entry for this week, a comment from my two idols, Michelle Grant and Leann Pearce.  Doing a happy jig I continued through my emails to see that Leanne had left a message on my blog and she has become a follower!!!  WOW!  I really don't things could get any better!  Totally made my day if not my week!!

This weeks page is another duel entry.  I have used this week colour room palette and I am also going to enter this page into the Scrap the Boys blog competition which is all about your son or husbands collection.  Needless to say Jackson loves his dinosaurs, and what a fun page to scrap!

I have distressed the edges with my new Distrezz-it-all Tool from Zutter and Donna Salazar, and can I just say my girlfriends laughed when I pulled this out as I have become the tool queen!! Then about a minute later, Loren is using it and having so much fun she has chewed up half a page!!!

I have used heshian, gauze that is misted, real rocks from the drive-way (shhhhh don't tell my husband!) I have used some Basic Grey embellishment and dinosaurs from the Archaic Range, eyelets and twine, and some rub-ons.  I used three different mists which I sprayed really close to the page and then just let them run down.

Had loads of fun catching up with friends and heaps of fun with this page.

Thanks for checking out my page!

Cute

Hey There,

This week I set myself two challenges that I have worked into one layout.  Firstly, I have entered the Color Room again, with pastel colors that I loved.  Then I have entered the Dusty Attic Inspiration Challenge, inspired by Emeline's style.  This is what I have come up with:

This is a photo of my best friend Kerryn's gorgeous little girl "Imogen".  It was just the perfect photo for this color challenge.  I have used Dusty Attic chipboard - Ferns and Scroll #3.  I have used Leanne Pearce's Chip Chop Shop Little Birdy and Button.  Prima flowers and a butterfly charm.  Websters Pages trim and several different punches.

The background was achieved by using a doodling template and water color crayons.  I then whitewashed over the top. Emeline's style is about punches, flower cut outs and clusters of flowers.

The best thing is that I had fun scrapping with friends which is what life is all about!

Thanks for checking out my blog!!
