Happy Days

Hi There Friends,

Today I am sharing with you a layout I made as a Special Investigator

This is Case File 147

I love the sketch that we got to play with.

Here is my take.

My EVIDENCE: Circles, Polka Dots, Grid Pattern and Stamps.

My TESTIMONY: I wrote my journalling in the form of an advice column.
Advice to my two boys.  It is on the front and back of the tag which is hidden
behind the main photo.

Here are some close-ups:

I used some washi.  I made my grid lines using paint and a palette knife.

Love the chipboard circles with the chevrons from WOW.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Throw Your Arms Around Me

Hi There,

Today I am sharing with you a new Case File for CSI: Color Stories Inspiration.

This is a special case file for Scrap 365.
You have the entire month to enter this one.

The colors on this case file are really subtle, but so pretty together.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I have used the entire color palette:

My EVIDENCE: Music Elements (Sheet Music Stamp), Mist, Heart, Scatter Something (Hearts) and String.

My TESTIMONY: I hand wrote the journalling on the background as well as writing the journalling as a Thank You Note.

Here are some close-ups:

My journalling as a Thank You Note to my mum.
I have so much to thank her for.

I got out some of my heart punches and started punching some scraps of paper
that matched the color palette.

I scattered them everywhere, I loved how it turned out.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Eungella - At One With Nature

Hi There,

I am super excited to be named as a guest designer for
CSI:  Color, Stories, Inspiration for the month of November.

I absolutely love entering their challenges.
They get you to think outside the square, and use colors you may not normally put together.

This is the current challenge, for the entire month of November.
So you have heaps of time to enter this one.

The trick to these challenges is to stick to the color palette,
you are able to use Black, white or Brown.
Pick two pieces of Evidence
and one from the Testimony.

Here is my take on the challenge.

Here are some close-ups:

I made a mixed media background using textured paste, sprays and paint.

Some pretty flowers and lace.

A bird accent and some florist vine to frame the photo.

The Turquoise blue really pops off the page.

This is a recent photo I took of a day trip to Eungella National Park.
We went to the Broken River in search of platypus.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
