Easter Break

Well I hope everyone enjoyed some time off and hopefully got some chocolate from the Easter Bunny!!  We have had my sister-in-law home from the Navy and had lots of family time which has been so nice.

But I have had time to do some scrapbooking too!!  This weeks entry into the Color Room.

It is a photo of my husband Adrian and his late grandad Ray.  It is a Treasured Moment in Time and a very special photo. This has been my very first Heritage page.

I have stamped, inked, masked, misted, painted.  I scrunched alot of the paper to give it an aged look.

I used Tim Holtz photo tape and the key is also a Tim Holtz key and some 7 Gypsies tissue tape.

Thanks for checking my page out!!  Now to clean up my mess!!!

Happy Easter

Well I don't know about you but I am constantly asking myself at the moment "where has the time gone?".  I can just about hear the Easter Bunny hopping into my house.

This week I am all about the Colour Room Palette #54.  The colours were bright and this is what I come up with.  I am also entering it in the April "Scrap the Boys" Challenge which is all about scrapping from an outfit, which is exactly what I have done.

This is my second boy Lucas at 5 months. Just way too cute for his own good!!  I have painted, machine stitched, fringed and then quilled (which is fiddly but I love it!) and I also hand made the flower at the bottom of the page from the Tim Holtz Paper Tape.
Thanks so much for checking out my page.  Hope you all have a safe and happy Easter.  Be safe if you are on the roads. xoxo

Hello There,

Finally we see some sunshine!!  I have the windows open and the breeze is beautiful and no more air conditioner!  YAY!

This week I have entered the colour room once again.  I had so much fun with this page, as it was girly, and I don't usually get to do that.  The photo was taken when I went to Brisbane to see my bestie Kerryn and see Usher in concert.

The colours are so pretty.  I have misted, stamped, used perfect pearls as well.  I used a Fiskars punch around the border and doilies in diagnal corners.  Dusty Attic leaves, left as they are.  Prima flowers and prima charms.

I got to scrap with Michelle, we always love to experiment.  We had a few design modifications!

Hope you like the page.

Have an awesome weekend, everyone.
