December SMAK Kit

Hi There,
Hope you are already enjoying your weekend!
Today I wanted to share with you a layout I made using this months SMAK Kit.

I love to create different patterns in the background and the
SMAK Kit is the perfect way to do just that!

I got out the sewing machine and did some stitching.
I used a stamp onto a sticker from an Echo Park pack I had.

This arrow stamp is definately going to get a workout on my layouts!

The love circle was perfect.

This giant clipboard was the perfect place for me to journal.

And then hide it behind the photo.

I used all types of different inks and different colors.

All of the layout was made using this months SMAK Kit.

Today I wanted to share with you a layout I have made using Unity Stamps
and the Prima Romance Novel Collection.

I wanted to go a little romantic and vintage with this layout.

I have wanted to use this stamp set for such a long time.

This was one of the last photos I had taken with my dad so it is so special to me.

I used The Crafters Workshop - Mini Damask Template and Textured paste
(with black paint added)
to create a 3D background.  Loved the way it turned out!

I loved this quote and it worked so perfect with the sentiment from the kit.

Such a gorgeous set!

Unity Stamp Co & Paper Issues Blog Hop

Hey Everyone,
I am so excited to be a part of this amazing blog hop.
I not only get to play with my favourite Unity Stamps
but I also had the latest Paper Issues Kit to use as well!!
HOW LUCKY AM I?
Very lucky.
If you have just started here, welcome.
Otherwise, you should have just arrived from the very talented
This Blog Hop is all about PINK and the theme is
"Believe In Yourself" (Breast Cancer Awareness).
Here is my layout using Unity Stamp Co Stamps and Paper Issues Kit.

This is my very good friend Maria, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008.
She is the most positive person I know, she is such a strong person.
She had an operation and some chemotherapy,
and I am happy to say that she is in the clear.
It just shows what a positive attitude can do.

Here are some close-ups:

I used gesso on my chipboard title, then I used the Heidi Swapp mist,
from the kit to spray onto the chipboard.
"It's All Worth It." is part of the Unity Stamp Kit I used.

The bumblebee is also from the Unity Stamp set.
I have journalled on the tag that says Maria from the Paper Issues Kit.
It is hidden journalling as her experience is
quite private and I wanted to stay true to that.

Loads of layering.  And how adorable are those little women cut outs?
Also part of the Paper Issues Kit.

To achieve the background I used a stamp from Unity and used white embossing powder.
I then rubbed the Heidi Swapp mist over the top.
It formed such a beautiful border around the whole page.

There really is so much you can do with this stamp kit.
Such beautiful and heartfelt sentiments from Melody Ross.
The frame from the stamp set can be used in so many different ways.

The finishing touch was hanging these beautiful
hearts and butterflies from the Paper Issues Kit.

I was so impressed by what is in the kit, I am going to be keeping an eye out at their etsy store for future kits.  Everything you need to make a layout or card.
Loved it all!!

Their kit will be sold from the Etsy Store here for $14 and if you use the
code: UNITY you will receive a massive 20% off your order!!
There are some really cool products on their as well.
