HOME is Where Your Story Begins

Hi There,

Today I am sharing my 3rd creation for the month
for Scrap FX.

As soon as I seen this stamp from Scrap FX I knew
exactly what I was going to create with it.

I created this in my art journal and I love how it turned out.

I thought it was also perfect with what is going on
in Australia in regards to voting for Same Sex Marriage.
Love is Love.

Here are some close-ups:

I drew the title with a Black Posca Pen
and finished off with a quote on my Typewriter.

This is the stamp Houses In A Row from Scrap FX.
I was blown away with how precise and easy the stamp was to use.

All stamps from Scrap FX come with their own firm acetate
so you don't have to use an acrylic stamp block.

I cannot wait to purchase some more.

Thanks so much for stopping by! xx

My Brother My Mate

Hi There,

I always love the opportunity to scrap my boys.
So, I was super excited when Scrap FX sent
out the new releases for the month
and they were so masculine and fun.

For this layout I used the My Brother My Mate Mini
chipboard, and could it possibly be more perfect for this photo?

Here are some close-ups:

I used the Chevron Borders chipboard and inked it black.
The background was created by using Shimmerz Coloringz -
Heidi Ho Blue, Night Moves and Scarlets Fever.

This is the Crate Papers - Cool Kid Collection.

I coloured the My Brother My Mate Mini with Posca Pens.

I do love this collection and have created 2 layouts with it so far.

Here are the products I used from Scrap FX

Selfies with Santa

Hi There Friends,

I am here with you today to share a layout I created
for Kaisercraft using the new release

This layout features my very cute nephew Hamish!

I was inspired by the Red Brick patterned paper in the collection.
I fussy cut the paper out to create a realistic brick wall background.

Here are some close-ups:

I used a tag punch to create this tag and pieces
from the Letters to Santa Collectables.

I used the Ink Pads in Red & Green to
create a mixed media background.

I used a combination of alpha stickers and
alpha chipboard to create the title.

Look at that face!!  So cute.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

"Believe" using the Letters to Santa Collection

Hi Friends,

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

Here is a new collection from Kaisercraft called Letters to Santa.
I love the traditional features from this collection.

This layout features a pic of my sister in law and
her gorgeous family.

I started off by using the Mini Designer Template - Holly Leaves.
With the Red Ink Pad and a sponge.

Here are some close-ups:

I used the title "Believe" from the Collectables.

Lots of layers on this layout.

Thanks so much for stopping by. xx

One of A Kind

Hi There,

I was so excited about the new releases
for Scrap FX this month.

Loads of masculine pieces.
I am surrounded by the men in my life,
so I am never short of inspiration.

It's not always easy to get a photo of my hubby.

So I got a little creative on this layout.

Here are some close-ups:

Loads of stamping, twine, tearing and ink.

I started off with the Tyre Track Stencil
and some textured paste.

This chipboard title "One of A Kind"is from the Dad Words pack.
There are some many cool titles to be found in this pack.

I finished off with the Metal & Stone Collage.
I cut this chipboard in half and inked it with Black Staz On.

Make sure you head on over to the Scrap FX shop
and check out the new releases for this month!

Island Paradise

Hey There,

I am going to take you to an Island Paradise today.
James Bond Island, actually, in Thailand.
Using some new releases from Scrap FX.

Here are some close-ups:

I kept this Rectangle Collage natural to blend in with the
colour palette on this layout.

The title Island Paradise is covered in Shimmerz - Bubblegum Blast.

Sandy Toes Sunkissed Noses

Hey There,

With Summer just around the corner, I decided to get a little tropical.
Using lots of Scrap FX goodies.

This layout is of my youngest boy Lucas on Whitehaven Beach.

Here are some close-ups:

I used the Rolling Waves chipboard with some gesso and
Distress Oxide to create a beachy look.

I used the Angel Fish Stencil on the background with
some texture paste to create some dimension.

This Live Love Surf chipboard was perfect for the layout
I added it directly onto the photo.

I finished it off the with title.
