Capture the Moment

Hello Friends,

Today I would like to share with you some Girly Steampunk.  Just to mix it up a little.

I will be using the Steampunk new releases, but going with some more feminine colours.

My first share is a layout I created.

I tried to keep the colours Pink, Black and White with a touch of Gold.

Here you can see that I used the Honeycomb Stamp to provide a border around the entire layout.

I turned the Suspended Time Chipboard sideways to go under the photo.

Then I added the #fantastic from the #surreal Chipboard pack.

Here you can see the Steampunk Key Corner Chipboard.  I love this.

I also cut out a Light Bulb from the Light Bulb Transparency.  You get 9 different Light Bulbs on the 1 sheet.

Then I finished off by using the Capture the Moment Title.

Authenticity

Hi There,

Today I am sharing a layout I created using loads of Scrap FX goodies

and the 7 Dots Studio - Paint Chips Collection.

This is a layout of my youngest, Lucas.  I used loads of Scrap FX products on this page.

I started with the Geometry Stencil on this 7 Dots Studio – Paint Chip Collection background.

I used it to stencil using some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide – Black Soot.

I then turned the stencil over and used it directly beside this image as a stamp, behind the photo.

I then used the Honeycomb Stamp to give the background some ink.  This stamp will be a favourite of mine for sure.  It’s so versatile.

I then mixed some Tim Holtz – Distress Oxide – Twisted Citron and Whipped Sparkle to use with the Crosswordsstencil to bring out some of the color in the background.

You can also see the Fractured Time Chipboard which was painted with White Gesso.

To finish the layout off, I added the title “Authenticity” and some of the BBQ Mesh Chipboard, which is also featured behind the photo matting as well.

Oh, and I cannot forget the Light Bulb Transparency.  You get 9 of these in a sheet and they have different designs within each light bulb.  How cool is that!!

I am also entering this layout into the 7 Dots Studio December Challenge.  It's all about using 3 colours.

Merry Christmas Tag

Hi There,

I love getting myself ready for Santa to arrive.

Today I created a tag using Scrap FX.

I loved putting this tag together.

How cute is that Merry Christmas Scramble Chipboard!

I inked this chipboard up with Staz On Ink – Jet Black.

Sitting on Santa's Knee

Hi There,

Who doesn't love getting dressed up and heading off to the shopping centre to have your photo taken with Santa?  I know it was a tradition as my place.

I went a little retro with this layout for Scrap FX.

As soon as I laid my eyes on the Chipboard title “Sitting on Santa’s Knee” I had the perfect photo.

I used a combination of a Tim Holtz Distress Marker – Forest Moss and a Jane Davenport Watercolour – Ariel for the perfect colourings.

This Beaded Strings Chipboard is also a combination of the above colours, then I used Glossy Accents to create a gloss.

{Christmas} the most wonderful time of the year

Hi There,

Christmas Really is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

Here is a layout I created for Scrap FX.

For this layout I keep the stunning chipboard bare, as it fits straight in with the colours of this layout.

This {Christmas} is the most wonderful time of the year Chipboard is so delicate, it seemed to be a better idea to leave it natural.  It just makes me so excited to think Christmas is not so far away!

 I just love this Holly Spray chipboard.

I felt the need to leave this natural too.  It was perfectly suited to the Kaisercraft Letter from Santa Collection.

Beautiful

Hi There,

Scrapbooking to me is therapeutic.  I find peace in 

scrapbooking a layout to document the life of a love 

one who has passed.  This layout is no exception.

My beautiful Nanna, Vera.

This layout was created for Scrap FX using 

Chipboard and Transparencies.

I used the Beautiful Rose Chipboard and some Gold Ink.

I used the Life & Times Transparencies.

In the background I have used a stencil, whipped sparkle 

and Tinby Designs Colour Crush - Grape.

Born To Dance

Hi There Friends,

Who doesn't love to dance, really?

I know I still do, but back when I was little, you couldn't stop me!

This layout was created for Scrap FX Australia 
using Chipboard, Silhouettes

and the Kaisercraft - Indigo Skies Collection.

These Fancy Feather Silhouettes from Scrap FX are 

just so intricate and delicate, but perfect for this layout.

I used a Tinby Designs Colour Crush - Deep Ocean for the 

title - Born to Dance.

Stunningly Beautiful

Hi There,

Who doesn't think that their mum is Stunningly Beautiful?

I know mine is!

So I took this opportunity to use some of the new release products from Scrap FX.

I also used the newly release Cocoa Vanilla Studio Collection - Bohemian Dreams.

Here are some close ups:

I used the Stunningly Beautiful Chipboard and inked the title.

The background features the Cross Confetti Stencil and some texture paste.

This is the Lotus Flourish A is coloured with Shimmerz - Bubblegum Blast.

HOME is Where Your Story Begins

Hi There,

Today I am sharing my 3rd creation for the month

for Scrap FX.

As soon as I seen this stamp from Scrap FX I knew 

exactly what I was going to create with it.

I created this in my art journal and I love how it turned out.

I thought it was also perfect with what is going on

in Australia in regards to voting for Same Sex Marriage.

Love is Love.

Here are some close-ups:

I drew the title with a Black Posca Pen 

and finished off with a quote on my Typewriter.

This is the stamp Houses In A Row from Scrap FX.

I was blown away with how precise and easy the stamp was to use.

All stamps from Scrap FX come with their own firm acetate 

so you don't have to use an acrylic stamp block.

I cannot wait to purchase some more.

My Brother My Mate

Hi There,

I always love the opportunity to scrap my boys.

So, I was super excited when Scrap FX sent 

out the new releases for the month 

and they were so masculine and fun.

For this layout I used the My Brother My Mate Mini

chipboard, and could it possibly be more perfect for this photo?
