Time for a Catch Up!

Hey everyone,

I have been so busy of late, I felt it was time for a catch up on what I have been up to.

I have been busy making cards, layouts and trying to get myself organised

for a busy month ahead!

So here goes:

This is a card I made using the Stamp of the Week from Unity Stamp Co.

I have been Stamp of the Week subscriber since Week 1!! and I love them all. 

I have quite a stash now!

The following week I got to make another card

I got to add a little texture to this card.

Such a beachy theme, but this stamp is just so versatile.

The stitching was fun, I don't always get a chance to.

Ok, so here goes:

This is my layout using the New Release

AUTHENTIQUE stamps.

We went for a trip to the beach.

I collected shells to use on this page.

I used some texture paste and added glimmermist,

then used a fork to make the waves.

I used gauze which I sprayed with glimmer mist to add a beachy feel to the page.

I used the boat steering wheel chipboard to hide my journalling.

All this was made by using this amazing stamp set:

The next release I have to share is one from

JILLIBEAN

Just love this stamp.

I have used two, there is a background stamp

and the turkey.

I added dimension by using 3D tape.

and this is the new background stamp.

One more to go!!

I love this stamp, it's so cute!!!

Scrap the Boys July Challenge

Hi There,

Just wanted to share with you today the layout I did for the Scrap the Boys July Challenge.

This is this months challenge details:

SCHOOL PHOTOSThis month is school photo time at our school so what your challenge is this month is to create a layout featuring your child(rens) school photo, if your child isnt at school but playgroup, early learning or creche try and get/use a photo of them there....

I don't have any school photos yet, so I thought I would use Jackson's kindy photos.

I got to be a little bit like a school teacher in this one and got to draw on the chalkboard, well sort of anyway.

I used a black cardstock and then I took some of my boys chalk and had some fun.

When I finished I used the Helmar Crystal Kote Fixative and Matte Finish.

Of course I used some Unity Stamp Co. stamps!!

It was from their May SMAK Kit (love).  I used a Staz On White Opaque Ink.

More stamps and a little hessian!

Some Felt Embelishments.

Itty-Bitty Hip Hop

Today I am going to re-share with you a page I did recently using the Itty Bitty - Simple Stories - Nuts and Bolts.

This is a picture of my man Lucas, playing whilst no-one is watching.

Seeing as though I am in the sharing mood, I wanted to show you this week's

I stamped the image twice, then colored different bowls with copic markers and cut them all out separately to add dimension.

To give some bowls a glossy look I added some dimensional magic.

Many of My Smiles Begin With You

I am totally becoming addicted to cardmaking.  I feel like I am finding myself and getting used to working with a smaller canvas!  Been really happy with the last couple of cards I have made, which makes me happy!!
