I am coming to you from school holidays here in Australia.

School Holidays mean lots of creative time at home.

My favourite kind of days.

Which sometimes require me not getting out of PJ's!!

Here is a layout I created

focusing on the background

which was created with Shimmerz Paints, of course!

Love how this turned out.

I thought I would take advantage of 

having power, while we are in the middle of a

cyclone here in Far North Queensland, Australia.

What a massive storm Cyclone Debbie is!!

But we are safe for now, that is the main thing.

With that said I wanted to share with you a layout

I created for Shimmerz Paints.

I have used loads of yummy colors

and the Fancy Pants Designs - True Friend Collection.

In the video tutorial, I show you how I created

layers using different Shimmerz Paints products:

Shimmerz Coloringz - Oh Say Can You Sea, Peachy Keen 

& Night Moves.

Shimmerz Inklingz - Tarnished Treasure.

Shimmerz Vibez - Sunset Strip & Snow Storm.

Shimmerz Paste-eez - Lava Flow

Shimmerz AcriTonez - Shimmerz Tar, Tar.

In the Fancy Pants Designs - True Friends Collection,

there was a multi colored triangle page.

I cut the triangles out, then cut the centres of them out.

That was you can still see the layered background through them.

Some stitching for some fun!

Add some splatters.

In the video I show you how I created the Ombre look

Hi Friends,

Writing this blog in extreme humidity 

here in Far North Queensland.

Not so fun scrapping in the tropics in the middle

of Summer

In saying that, I did enjoy

creating this layout for CSI: Color Stories Inspiration.

Here is my take on Case File 222.

All colors in the palette are included.

My evidence is:  Chevron (stenciling), Jewels,

Stamps and Fabric.

My Testimony is:  Choose a January Prompt.

I chose What am I grateful for?

Case File 220 - Happy Christmas

Hey Friends,

Time for another Case File from CSI: Color Stories Inspiration

and this one was a little harder for me,

but I loved the outcome.

I think it was because this color palette,

had us trying different Christmas colors

than the traditional palette.

Love these two boys!!

I don't usually use pink for them but I like it!

I have used all colors in the palette.

My Evidence is:  Stars, Ribbon, Tags and Sprinkle Something.

My Testimony is:  Write your journaling in the form

of a recipe.

My Sprinkle Something - was Michelle Grant Designs

Pebble Rock - Micro Transparent - Clear Rocks.

I used texture paste and a stencil, then sprinkled the rocks

before the texture paste dried.

The bonus is that when I used my

Shimmerz Vibez - Cold as Ice

it colored the rocks as well.

The Chipboard Words are from The Dusty Attic.

My journaling is on the tag behind the photo.

I have had a layout on my desk for the last week at least.

Not for any other reason than enjoying

adding to it and watching it come together.

And I love to play with my Clique Kit!!

This Clique Kit was September 2016

Moon Child.

Today's share is a tag that I made for Shimmerz Paints.

It turned out to be super pretty.

The Shimmerz colors I used are perfect and so bright.

I used a Unity Stamp Co. - Christy Tomlinson stamp.

I colored it using Shimmerz Paint Pots.
